- Since 2001, Juvenile Intake has reduced Child in Need of Care/non abuse neglect (CINC/NAN) Emergency Foster Care Placement from 8% of the total population of CINC/NAN intakes in 2001 to 3% in 2007.
- In 2007, Juvenile Intake and Assessment Services processed 1,983 youth. 100% of those youth received referrals to community resources.
- 99% of the children from high-risk families who voluntarily participated in the Family Support Services did not enter SRS custody.
- 70% of students served increased school attendance in 2008-2009.
- KCSL FRC is a United Way member agency dedicated to creating partnerships to ensure easy access to needed services.
- KCSL FRC develops methods for providing a “warm hand off” between referring agencies and case management for families on waiting lists to prevent them falling between service gaps.
